ABOUT ME

eigenes FotoOriginally from India, I've been living in Germany for two decades now.

First and foremost, I'm a human being. Among other things I'm also an architect, an enthusiastic wine merchant and, as an ex-gastronome, an explorer of the culinary arts. And I'm not a friend of stereotyped thinking, pigeon-holes and labels (indian, architect, sommelier etc.). In every life situation (also as an enterpreneur) I can only offer what I really am - a human being.

As a wine merchant and culinary explorer, I'm looking for sublime gustatory experiences; as an enterpreneur I try to integrate ethics and responsibility in my business. The well-being of my customers is just as important to me as that of my employees and my environment. In search of fulfilment and meaning (in life and) at work, I'd like to be of assistence to others - customers, employees or co-operation partners - in their very own searches.

My vocation and calling find their expression, not in some particular profession that I choose to practice, but instead in my very own way of interacting with the world, the way that I work and the values that underly that work, in my worldview and my vision.

What matters at the end of the day – let's write it here in capitals – is the TASTE, the GUSTATORY EXPERIENCE.

THAT'S WHERE WE MEET!

NO SOCIAL MEDIA!

Potentially, the social networks offer an incredible opportunity for people to be (virtually) connected across all borders. And I have nothing against a colourful diversity of opinions and values. Quite the contrary!

However, it is how this idea is (so far) being implemented that does not correspond to my perception of a real freedom of values. Moreover, the providers of most of the current platforms systematically ignore the protection of data privacy, some more than the others.

On the other hand - this is just a feeling (I've never registered on Facebook & Co. to really know!) - there seems to be a lot of exciting and sometimes really beautiful stuff going on in the social networks. Still not my thing!

So, instead of tweets, chats, posts, followers and likes, I look forward to communication! For that I'd think that e-mails, phone-calls and personal meetings should be enough, I hope. Oh yes - the postal service is still there as an option, but that, too, is no longer really 'my thing'!
